Our macaque conservation program focuses on Macaca fascicularis or the long-tailed macaque, which is already endangered (EN). Conflicts between macaques and humans have recently occurred due to land conversion into settlements, causing human and long-tailed macaque habitats to intersect. One of the macaque-related programs that we implement is HMC (Human Macaque Conflict), which is an activity to prevent and handle conflicts between humans and long-tailed macaques.
