The Pematang Gadung landscape, consisting of the Pematang Gadung Village Forest and the Sungai Besar Village Forest in Ketapang, covers 11,497 hectares of peat swamp and mangrove forests.
This program aims to engage local communities in conservation efforts and transform their behavior toward wildlife and habitat preservation. This is achieved by reducing the negative impacts of anthropogenic pressures such as logging and uncontrolled development.
