Gunung Tarak Protected Forest is one of the endangered orangutan habitat pockets, covering approximately 24,000 hectares. Anthropogenic activities put pressure on this natural resource, making conservation efforts in this landscape critically important.
Therefore, our program in this landscape includes securing, restoring, and continuously monitoring the forest and its biodiversity.
